The Terra Dupatta takes its name from the Latin word for earth, reflecting the collection’s exploration of root systems and the soils that sustain them. A single band of guntai shibori runs along one side of the dupatta, forming a root-like line that traces the length of the textile.

The placement is minimal, allowing the material and technique to remain the focus while referencing the linear spread of roots beneath the soil.

The colour palette : Clay, Green Shoot, Loam, Mineral Peach, Sand, Patina and Ivory is derived from research into soils and the minerals that give them their distinct colours.
